OPALS star Lauren Jackson was in Dandenong along with former Ranger Liz Cambridge for the announcement that Jayco Caravans was the major sponsor of the Australian women's team.
The three-year deal was outlined by Jayco marketing director Andrew Ryan at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium last Tuesday.
Basketball Australia chief executive officer Larry Sengstock and Opals coach Carrie Graf also attended.
Ryan said sponsoring the Opals was the next step for the company, which has sponsored the Rangers since 1997.
Jayco's association with the Opals started in 1999 when Penny Taylor, a former Ranger and current Opal, worked at Jayco part-time early in her basketball career.
