A MAN died last week after a truck crash in Nar Nar Goon.
The incident happened about 5.30am last Tuesday on the Princes Highway, just before Snell Road.
It is believed a truck travelling east ran into a stationary truck that had been parked on the side of the east bound lane for some time before the accident.
Pakenham advanced life support paramedic Jodie Pullin said the cabin of the moving truck was completely destroyed.
"Unfortunately the driver (of the moving vehicle) died before emergency services arrived," she said.
The driver of the stationary Kenworth truck, a Tinamba man, 38, escaped uninjured.
Police from the major collision investigation unit blocked east-bound traffic on the Princes Highway for a number of hours after the crash.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the stationary vehicle parked on the Princes Freeway before the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
